About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Screening Nurse to join a well-established Occupational Health service on a 6-month fixed-term contract working full-time (5 days per week).

Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-employment and placement health assessments, providing fitness-to-work/study advice
Deliver health surveillance programmes including spirometry and screening activities
Provide support and advice following workplace incidents (e.g. exposure, stress, infection-related issues)
Manage inoculation injuries in line with Occupational Health procedures
Produce clear, professional reports for managers and stakeholders
Promote health and wellbeing, including lifestyle and mental health advice
Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with GDPR and professional standards
Collaborate with the Occupational Health team to ensure high-quality service delivery
About You
Registered Nurse (Adult) – NMC registered
Minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience
Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) and Anaphylaxis training
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Well-organised with excellent time management skills
Professional, proactive and adaptable approach
Desirable Experience
Experience in Occupational Health or health screening
Knowledge of health surveillance techniques (e.g. audiometry, spirometry, vision screening)
Understanding of workplace health and employment-related issues
Experience within education, healthcare, or similar environments
